Quadra-Fire Pellet Stoves

September 2, 2008 · Filed Under Pellet Stove Reviews, Quadra Fire Pellet Stove

There were around 500 wood stove manufacturers around in the USA by1985, almost all of them stopped making stoves rather than adapt to the more stringent regulations of the Clean Air Act. Most of those companies that remained turned to catalytic combustion as a solution. But Alan Trusler and Dan Henry who founded the company now called Quadra-Fire chose instead to look at wood burning in an entirely new way.
They spent two years researching and developing the Quadra Brand system which was patented that burns and then reburns agses in four different zones within the firebox, this technology set new standards for clean, fuel efficient heating with wood because it is non-catalytic, the system does not degrade in performance over time.
Wether fueled by wood, gas, shelled corn or pellet each Quadra-Fire stove is designed with a mind toward efficiency and an eye toward beauty. We put great care into every product, using thick steel and design details that both enhance performance and keep the stove working for you day after day, for many, many years. Efficient, reliable, easy-to-use, and environmentally friendly, Quadra-Fire is always the smart choice for alternative-energy home heating. Our Quadra-Fire Products:

My parents have a really nice, always serviced Quadrafire wood pellet stove (fireplace inserted stove) and they want to sell it. We don’t know how much to ask for this 2 year old stove and would like a suggestion on how much one might ask and how much a new one sells for. If you can, we would appreciate your help. Thank you.
