The correct and proper venting for your pellet stove preformance,safety, maintenance and the environment. Pellet stoves produce litle or no visible gas after start up but exhaust gases and fine ash must be removed safely from the pellet stove to the outdoor environment and thats what the pellet stove vent kit is for. The vents remove the gases and fine ash from the pellet stove to the outdoors safely.
Some heat will also moves through the vent, making protection of nearby combustibles essential. So stick to the minimum clearance between the vent and combustibles, as specified in the vent kit installation instructions, must be met or exceeded to assure safety.
Typical Kits will includes one horizontal cap, one 90 degree elbow, one wall bracket, 5 one-foot pipe sections, one tee with cleanout, one wall thimble, 1 pipe connector. Enough pipe and fittings to finish a basic pipe install from stove through the wall.
