You will have consider the following items when your buying your pellet stove:
Top or bottom Feed - Both have there benefits, but generally top fed pellet stoves use a low ash content pellet fuel where as bottom feed can use most types of pellet fuels, both points need consider when looking for your pellet stove for sale.
Size - Does matter, generally they are quiet low maintenance but before you buy you may want consider buying a larger hopper so filling and cleaning is done less often.
Maintenance - look for an easy operation and easy maintenance pellet stove, so while in the sale ask questions before buying.
Price - This is also a key issue that you must get right regardless of buying a new or second hand / used pellet stove.
