Junk bought in 05 fan motor started making noise first year. Last year would not stay lit. Needs a control board after 10 months of use at 350.00, paid 3000.00 really sorry I did not investigate more before purchase.

I purchased the Empress FPI last year. It was delivered and installed in January, burned 3 tons of fuel, and fired up perfectly the other day. It requires very little maintenence (I did buy an ash vac because to empty yhe tray is a messy job if not done every day).
Overall, I am happy with the stove and looking to buy another for the other side of the house.

Has anyone had any problems with the Empress FPI insert? We are newbies to the pellet stove world and are leaning toward buying an Empress FPI insert. Our first choice was Harman Accentra, however considering the problems dealers are having getting the model from the distributer following the buyout last year, we have backed away from Harman.

Any comments about the pros or cons of Enviro Empress FPI Insert are very much appreciated.
Thanks
